Doctrinal Statements
The Principles That Guide Our Faith & Practice
Our doctrinal statements reflect the core beliefs that shape the scope of ministry for Christlike Ministries: A Church Without Walls. They serve as a foundation for worship, teaching, and daily living—grounding us in truth, guiding our actions, and uniting our community in faith.
We Believe
- The Scriptures — All Scripture is given by divine inspiration and is infallible, inerrant, and the final authority for faith and conduct (2 Timothy 3:16).
- The Godhead — There is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—distinct yet indivisible (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
- Jesus Christ — The Lord Jesus Christ is the Savior of mankind, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, fully God and fully Man (Luke 1:26–35; John 1:14–18; Isaiah 7:14; 9:6).
- His Death & Resurrection — Christ died for our sins, was buried, rose again on the third day, and appeared to His disciples (1 Corinthians 15:1–5; John 20:19, 26–29).
- His Return — Jesus ascended into heaven and will return again personally, visibly, and bodily for His church (John 14:2–3; 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18).
- Salvation — Salvation is by grace through repentance and faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross, through which we receive forgiveness of sins (Ephesians 2:1–9; Romans 5:11; Hebrews 9:12, 22).
- Baptism — The Lord Jesus Christ commands water baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:34–36; 19:1–6).
- The Holy Spirit — Every believer should be filled with the Holy Spirit, as a real experience at or after salvation (Acts 2:1–4; 8:14–17).
- Spiritual Life & Gifts — We believe in the operation of spiritual gifts and a Spirit-filled life, marked by holiness and separation from the world (1 Corinthians 12; 2 Corinthians 6:14–7:1; Ephesians 5:18–21).
- Divine Healing — Healing is provided through the power of God (Acts 4:30; Romans 8:11; 1 Corinthians 12:9; James 5:14).
- Communion — The Lord’s Supper is observed by believers in remembrance of Christ (1 Corinthians 11:28–32; Matthew 26:26–28).
- The Church — There is one universal church made up of all true believers, expressed through local churches under the headship of Jesus Christ, carrying out His mission (Matthew 16:18; Acts 15:22; 18:15–20).

2 Timothy 3:16-17
16All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for [a]instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
